Student-Run Property Management Company Finds and Shares Success

Loyola Neighborhood News: Water Tower Campus - V3, I4

Since its inception on July 2011, Loyola Property management, the student-led property management company hired by Loyola University, has expanded its responsibilities from day-to-day management of Loyola’s retail properties to tenant acquisitions for vacant spaces.

Currently, Loyola’s downtown retail portfolio includes two vacant spaces located at 4 W. Chicago Avenue and 839 N. State Street. Loyola property management is actively recruiting interested prospective tenants for these two locations and encourages business owners to contact the management team for more information. Please check the LPM website more information regarding the properties.

Loyola Property management has also expanded its staff to accommodate the increase in responsibilities toward Loyola University. With a larger staff they are able to continue to provide the valuable service to the University and its surrounding Chicago community.

In addition to this service, the growth of the firm allows Loyola Property Management to provide more internship opportunities to Loyola University’s undergraduate students. The hands-on experience in the great city of Chicago’s real estate market, afforded by a Loyola Property Management internship position, is unique and unmatched by any other undergraduate program in the country.

Loyola Property Management plans to continue to grow as a business, and enlarge its entrepreneurial footprint on Loyola University and the greater Chicago community.
