Lake Shore Campus Venues

Located in Rogers Park, along the shores of Lake Michigan, Loyola's Lake Shore Campus is conveniently located 7 miles north of downtown Chicago and within steps of public transportation. A premier conference center and one stop shop, Loyola's central location is ideal for meetings, conferences, trainings, or special events. The campus offers a multitude of elegant venues including ballrooms, electronic classrooms, tiered auditoriums, and multi-purpose rooms, to accommodate your event needs. Complete your event with state-of-the-art technology services and gourmet catering delivered to any meeting space on campus. In addition to the University's plentiful resources, the Lake Shore Campus has 7 LEED certified buildings, more green roofs than any other campus in the Midwest, and received gold campus sustainability recognition from the state of Illinois.

Whether you are planning a corporate or association meeting, youth conference, religious gathering, or private event, Loyola has a wide variety of meeting and event spaces to meet your needs. From historic art-deco to contemporary, our unique venues vary in size, style, and layout with stunning views of Lake Michigan. Loyola Conference Services also offers residential housing accommodations during the summer months at our Lake Shore Campus (Rogers Park) and year-round at our Water Tower Campus (Gold Coast).

Centennial Forum Student Union
The gateway to our campus, Centennial Forum, is a convenient and affordable venue option. Event spaces include Bremner Lounge, Rambler Room, and the Mullady Theatre. The building allows for easy access to public transit and open floor plans.

Coffey Hall - McCormick Lounge
This newly renovated multi-purpose room boasts sparkling lake views and brand new amenities including carpeting, furniture, and decor. Fully electronic with a built in sound system, McCormick Lounge is one of Loyola’s most sought after new venues.

Crown Center for the Humanities
Located on the northeast side of Loyola's Lake Shore Campus, the Edward Crown Center for the Humanities was built in 1984. Just steps from Lake Michigan, the Crown Center lobby offers breathtaking views of the lake and is a popular venue for wedding receptions and conferences. Adjacent to the lobby is a 245-seat auditorium, beautiful outdoor patio, and two conference rooms.

Cudahy Library - Donovan Reading Room
Located in the Cudahy Library, adjacent to the Information Commons, this elegant features stained-glass windows, Art Deco finishes, unique murals, lighted bookcases, and sky-high ceilings. Coupled with views of Lake Michigan and an entrance to the campus quad, the Donovan Reading Room is one of Loyola's hidden gems.

Damen Student Center
Located at our Lake Shore Campus, the Arnold J. Damen, S.J., Student Center is Loyola's newest and most exciting venue. This building boasts over a dozen lounge spaces and conference rooms, a movie theater, and a large hall that can accommodate up to 400 people. The Damen Student is also designed to be LEED Silver-certified to conserve energy and be as environmentally friendly as possible.

Flanner Hall Auditorium
One of Loyola’s traditional auditoriums, Flanner Hall is mostly utilized for lectures and trainings. The venue features tiered seating and tablet desks with a built-in projection screen. Adjacent to the auditorium is an open lobby, great for receptions.

Institute of Environmental Sustainability
The new Institute of Environmental Sustainability facility includes classrooms, meeting rooms, multi-purpose rooms, a clean energy lab, an urban agricultural greenhouse, and a green café. It shares common spaces with San Francisco Hall, a brand new residence hall.

Mundelein Center- Auditorium
Formerly Mundelein College, this historic building features stained-glass windows and Art Deco chandeliers. This fully restored venue also boasts a courtyard complete with a garden and fountain for cocktail receptions. Additionally there are fully electronic modern classrooms for breakout sessions.

Mundelein Center-Palm Court
One of Loyola's newest venues on the Lake Shore Campus, this atrium venue boasts lake views and an abundance of natural light. Coupled with a wrap around outdoor terrace, this venue is one of Loyola's most sought after venues for weddings and special events.

Piper Hall
Nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan, Piper Hall Mansion is a one-of-a-kind venue with breathtaking views. Accented with Tiffany windows and fixtures, original wood flooring, and a restored interior make this venue a popular for special events and weddings. When renting out the mansion you have the entire first floor, wrap-around porch, and patio overlooking Lake Michigan.

Quinlan Life Sciences Building
The Quinlan Life Sciences Building is a state-of-the-art facility that has a modern auditorium and electronic meeting rooms. A striking atrium area on the third floor showcases the beauty of this facility and boasts spectacular views of the Lake Shore Campus.

Regis Hall
Regis Hall conveniently houses a divisible multi-purpose room, board room, and electronic lounge spaces. It also serves as a high-end residence hall for students and seasonal conference guests.  The building is located conveniently across the street from the main parking structure.

Sullivan Center - Galvin Auditorium
One of the newest auditoriums on the Lake Shore Campus, Galvin auditorium is modern in design and layout. Located in the Sullivan Center for Student Services, the venue offers tiered seating, a built in sound system with projection screen and computer station. Adjacent to the auditorium, host your networking reception or refreshments in the Galvin lobby.
