CPELL is a federally funded Department of Education/Office of English Language Acquisition grant program (grant # T365Z12006) located within the Loyola University Chicago School of Education.

Applications are now being accepted for the final cohort of the Loyola CPELL program. We are pleased to offer the Teacher Leader M.Ed. with dual teacher leader and ESL endorsements for this cohort.

This degree is critical for teachers who wish to better serve all students and serve in a leadership capacity within their schools and district.  Apply Now!

District partners with two or more CPELL scholars benefit not only from graduate educational programs, but through delivery of data-driven professional development and parent programming. There are also opportunities to build capacity and enrich the entire educational community.

  • Earn a Master's degree with dual teacher leader and ESL endorsements (36 hours) with a 60% discount on Loyola's tuition plus CPELL will pay for the state mandated teacher evaluation modules ($650).
  • Applications are now being accepted for Spring 2016. Space is limited.
  • Application deadline is November 30, 2015.
  • Classes for this cohort will be held at the Vernon Hills Campus (at Cuneo).
