- This course covers emerging telecommunications technologies and their applications and implications for international business. The coverage will involve issues related to economics, law, politics, international relations, and the management of technology. The competitive environment in the U.S. will be compared with the economic, political and technological environments of other countries. The technolog-ical challenges in connecting users across the globe, and current standards and protocols established by international organizations to achieve global connectivity will be discussed.
