About

Benjamin holds an MA in philosophy from Southern Illinois University and a BA from DePaul.  He has taught philosophy, logic, and psychology at colleges and Universities in the Chicago area since 2007, for which he was honored by the Truman College student-body in 2011 with their annual award for exceptional teaching. In addition to teaching, Benjamin has been active in academia, presenting his work at conferences throughout the country, as a conference organizer, and with research publications in journals of philosophy and psychology for which he has been the recipient of awards and honors, besides receiving a Futurist Grant for his work in support of the arts in Chicago. He has also worked as a legal consultant, including consulting on capital cases and donating his time pro-bono to work on behalf of mentally ill inmates in Illinois. In his free time he enjoys restoring vintage audio-equipment. Benjamin is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in computer science at Loyola University Chicago.
