AP Calculus AB Workshop
July 7-11, 2014
Designed for new and experienced AB Calculus teachers, these workshops will provide an overview of the topics included in the AB Calculus syllabus. In addition, topics such as curriculum design and instruction, textbook selection, technology and AP examination expectations and grading, will be incorporated into the week. This will be an active "hands-on" workshop where appropriate activities will be used and effective methods of teaching will be modeled. Participants should bring a graphing calculator to the workshop. The instructor will use a TI-84 calculator during the workshop with the TI-89 and TI NSpire calculators being used as needed. Computer software will also be used for demonstrations and graphics. Maximum capacity 25. (Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am - 4:15 pm and Friday, 8:30 am - 1:00 pm)
