Jonya A. Leverett graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Art History. During the course of her undergraduate studies, she also studied fine art and design. While at the University of Georgia, she participated in the University's study abroad program at Oxford University (Keble College), Oxford, England. After graduation, Ms. Leverett worked at two of the southeast's most respected trial consulting firms designing courtroom exhibits and conducting background and venue research. She is currently entering her second year of doctoral study at Loyola University Chicago in Applied Social Psychology. Her research interests include the manipulations and effectiveness of media and propaganda.

Jonya works with Dr. Linda Heath of the Psychology Department as evaluators for the Center's Physics Endorsement Program.
