I first just wanted to say thank you so much for all of the hard work you did to make my day perfect. Everyone was talking about how beautiful the Gardens and Mansion was and how perfect everything looked. I couldn’t have asked for a better day, location, vendors, etc.

I have attached three pictures of the mansion from our photographer. I will also forward you the link to the rest of the pictures next week when he sends them. The mansion is gorgeous in these shots!

We hosted my daughters wedding at The Cuneo Mansion in September of this year (2012) and it was simply a spectacular event. The grounds of mansion were phenomenal for hosting an outdoor ceremony where all of the guests had a wonderful view of the mansion and gardens behind the site of the actual wedding ceremony. After the ceremony, the guests made their way up to the outdoor terrace for cocktails and appetizers. The setting was terrific for this piece of the event and again, the views over-looking the gardens for everyone was stunning. The bartenders and servers on the terrace could not have been nicer and the appetizers were mouth-watering. This terrace and its views lent a very special quality to the reception’s proceedings.
The event then adjourned indoors for the dinner reception and the new main dining room at Cuneo is extremely nice. It easily handled our 220 guests and looked wonderful for the dinner and dancing that followed. Again, the wait staff and bartenders did a phenomenal job, with several people commenting about how the servers were almost unnoticeable which is the ultimate compliment. And the food- what can I say about the sensational job that Bauer Catering did with the food. Eddie and Mary Bauer were on top of their game with every piece of the menu, drawing rave reviews. So many people came up to me and said this food was some of the best they have ever had at a wedding and felt the food was a major part of what turned out to be a truly wonderful evening. The weather was so nice that we were able to have a Cigar & Scotch Bar out on the terrace following dinner that was the perfect way, coupled with some high energy dancing on the dance floor, to top off this very special evening at Cuneo.

The event was so well coordinated by the Cuneo staff, under the watchful eye of Zuzi Williams from Bauer’s Catering, that there was not one issue that arose during the evening and I had a large number of guests come up and personally tell me that this was the best wedding they had ever been to. Zuzi takes a personal interest in making sure a wedding happens according to plan! While having wonderful guests in attendance helped make the evening memorable, the ambiance created by every aspect of the Cuneo facility is what made this a night to remember for all of us, especially the Bride & Groom.

I would recommend hosting a wedding at The Cuneo Mansion and having Bauer’s Catering handle all of the reception related items to anyone that is looking to make their big day truly memorable!

Hey Zuzi!

 No wondering what time that wedding photo was shot! Late in the evening when my feet gave out. Did you happen to get a picture of the room? Also you should go to her photographer’s website, click on her facebook and if you go to july and it will say “for more pictures” click on there and there are some really nice shots of Caitlin & Kyle but the Mansion is in it’s full glory! The grounds and the lights on the  posts and oh gosh, I could go on and on. What an unbelievable evening. Got rave reviews on the room and the food as well. When I get more photos I will let you know but she really did Cuneo proud. Although I must say, that isn’t hard to do. Thank you and Mary again & again for all you did to make this a freakin’ fairytale wedding. I gotta believe it’s going to be talked about for a long time. I promise to be in touch soon to “dish” with you both! Your husband is adorable “btw”.

Thank you for everything regarding Colleen’s and Kevin’s wedding. Don left a Brooks Brothers white shirt and someone borrowed Emily’s phone charger and left in either the bride or grooms room.  Did you perhaps find them?
Other than the transportation and the problems with the Marriott Lincolnshire, everything was perfect.  All my friends loved the food and the setting. Thanks for all your hard work.

From the appetizers to sweet table , everything was the right temperature and delicious. My guests thought I had hired a wedding planner…. “A heartfelt thank you to you, the staff, and volunteers who coordinated such a wonderful event yesterday at the Cuneo Mansion and Gardens. Every detail showed careful planning and attention to making the Open House a memorable experience. Learning about the facilities, services, and accommodations was particularly informative. Knowing that there are professional resources available and readily accessible in the community is most reassuring for planning future events.
Although I breezed through the mansion very quickly, I had a wonderful conversation with one of the docents, Ginger, in the Mansion. She was delightful and communicated an impressive depth of knowledge about the history of the Cuneo family and objects d’ art that were on display. Also, I met a few representatives from the Visitor’s Center, including Teresa Lewis who advised me that her team assists corporate groups with their event planning.
From my perspective, the performance of the entire team was exemplary. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. Thank you for inviting me and I will share the information from the Open House with my colleagues in consideration of future events.
