regional, national and international projects
Listing of Completed Collaborative Research Projects and Initiatives
It is counterintuitive to think that a research center focusing on collaborative, community-based work in Chicago has national and international connections. However, we are finding that new forms of "local-to-local" global connections are being made among grassroots projects around the globe.
With more accessible internet and other communications available to broader numbers of organizations, we have been forging new relationships with partners doing community-based work abroad. These projects represent a powerful new source of information for social change organizations around the world.
The list is a compilation of completed research and initiatives since 1996 by the Center for Urban Research and Learning. It is organized by issue area and includes a brief description of outcomes.
