Gateways issue on South Africa
Gateways: International Journal of Community Research and Engagement has published its second issue at http://epress.lib.uts.edu.au/ojs/index.php/ijcre
This special edition jointly edited by: Martin Hall, Judy Favish, Sonwabo Ngcelwane and Janice McMillan frames emerging responses to the challenges
of social responsiveness at the University of Cape Town.
This collection of articles includes university-community collaborations around the HIV/AIDS crisis, managing coastal resources, xenophobia,
disaster planning and innovation in manufacturing. The lead article by Martin Hall also provides an excellent introduction to the issue.
Gateways is jointly edited and managed by the Shopfront at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) in Australia and the Center for Urban Research and Learning (CURL) at Loyola University in Chicago, USA.
