Personal Information

Doctoral graduate from the Human Geography department of Queen Mary, University of London. Her research was focused on broad-based, community organising in Britain. Specifically, looking at the ways in which churches, schools and unions became involved in London's public life and sought to alter power relations by making a positive impact in their communities. Dr. Jamoul has been working at CURL since October 2007 on a collaborative partnership with the Industrial Areas Foundation Chicago group - United Power for Action and Justice.
