Personal Information

Reuben Jonathan Miller is a Doctoral Student in Sociology at Loyola University Chicago and a pre-doctoral fellow at the Center for Urban Research and Learning. At CURL he has worked on projects aimed at increasing youth civic engagement through policy research and the provision of homelessness services.

Reuben received a master's degree from the University of Chicago School Of Social Service Administration and has worked with community based organizations providing therapeutic services, project development and research support. His research focuses on the intersections of race, religion and social welfare policy within the macro social, economic and political realities of prisoner reentry work.
