Overview:
A project of the Loyola School of Nursing completed a needs assessment to establish and maintain a school-based health center for the medically under-served Latino children and youth in the Pilsen/Little Village neighborhoods of Chicago.
Outcome:
The clinic is operational and is a site for clinical practice for Loyola's pediatric and women's health nurse practitioner students and graduate nutrition students; funded by the Visiting Nurses Association.
