Overview:
In 1998, CURL helped to conduct a study with funding from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on racially and ethnically diverse urban neighborhoods throughout the country. CURL is now updating some of the quantitative data analysis done for that study with 2000 Census data. In particular, we will be analyzing Census data from the 30 largest cities in the U.S. and identifying neighborhoods in those cities that are racially and ethnically diverse.
