Overview:

This research consisted of an examination of Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) caseload dynamics and characteristics in Illinois.  The study was designed to assist policymakers in adapting to potential future fiscal scarcity for this program.

Outcome:

A report was published in the Journal of Poverty Law and Policy, Nov.-Dec. 1999, entitled "The Earned Income Tax Credit: Eligible Families at Risk of Losing Benefits."
