Consumer Study of Current and Potential Users of Garfield Park Conservatory

Overview:

As part of the Midwest/Northeast Voter Registration Education Program, thirty volunteers were trained by Loyola faculty and graduate students to administer a telephone survey to determine the level of Latino participation in the democratic process.

Outcome:

A report based on this project has appeared in publication (e.g. Harvard Journal of Hispanic Policy), entitled "Latino Electoral and Non-electoral Political Participation: Findings from the 1996 Chicago Latino Registered Voter Survey."
