Overview:

With funding secured by St. Rep. Larry McKeon and awarded to CURL, the Center conducted a study that assessed the impact of redevelopment on this multi ethnic, mixed income neighborhood.

Outcome:

Reports were presented to a local advisory committee on a quarterly basis. A final report, entitled “The Upton Housing and Land Use Study,” informed all community stakeholders on the changes which occurred in the decade of 1990 - 2000 in land usage, housing characteristics and costs, and demographics.
