What attracted me to CURL: I was particularly attracted to CURL because of its affirmative commitment to promoting equality and positive change. I wanted an opportunity to develop and use research skills for a purpose, and CURL represented an opportunity for academic exploration and growth in the service of community interests
What I hope to Gain from CURL: As a fellow at CURL, I have a chance to become more involved with Chicago communities I would otherwise likely not encounter.
