What attracted me to CURL: I applied to be a Fellow at CURL because I wanted to become more involved with bringing about positive change to the city of Chicago. I was also attracted to CURL due to its unique focus on collaborative research with the community and because the topics they are investigating are of personal interest to me.
What I hope to bring away from my experience at CURL: Through working with CURL I hope to improve my research skills, expand my knowledge of issues surrounding social change, as well as give back to a community which has already given me so much.
