Project: McCormick Tribune Foundation/Early Childhood Network Update of the “Community Asset Map & Resource Appendix”

What attracted me to CURL:  After taking the Urban Seminar course, I wanted to continue to do research that would positively impact Chicago communities.  I appreciate the opportunity to work on projects that have real-world use to many organizations and people.  CURL offers a chance to do research that can be applied outside of the classroom.

What do I hope to gain from CURL:  Working at CURL will give me experience applying the concepts I have learned in coursework to research projects.  I also hope to grow accustomed to and benefit from the collaborative research model by sharing ideas and strategies through team research.
