Erica Bauer, Senior
Here is how Erica exemplifies the Jesuit ideals according to her nomination:
Erica has been a Resident Assistant for 3 years now. She has been active in various student organizations. She was selected to attend a national leadership conference last year as a representative of Loyola University Chicago. I first got to know Erica when I accompanied an ABI trip to Camden, NJ. She was a first year student at the time and I was struck by her focus, commitment, and desire to embrace the experience. Since then I have seen Erica give of herself to the residents of her floors as well as commit herself to her academics and to social justice causes. She has developed some wonderful leadership skills and is striving for the "magis" in her life after graduation. Further, she has recently received a Fulbright scholarship to study in Germany. I believe that Erica is an exceptional young woman who cares deeply and passionately about humanity and about justice. She is an extremely bright and hard-working student who does not shy away from difficult tasks or challenging activities.
