Here is how Liz exemplifies the Jesuit ideals according to her nomination:

Liz has been an active member of the Loyola community in a diverse number of roles. Liz has served on the executive board of the Student Environmental Alliance. She is also an active member of the Union Programming Board, as well as an executive member of the Campus Life Union Board (C.L.U.B.) where she has served as Coffeehouse Chair and Special Events Chair. In addition to her involvement with Student Activities and student organizations, Liz has been an instrumental member of the Campus Ministry community. She has successfully led the 2005 SEARCH retreat and Youth For Christ retreats. In addition to these leadership roles, Liz has also helped lead the Collegiate 4th program and dedicated time to several Alternative Break Immersion trips. Liz truly embodies the ideals of the Jesuit mission. She is very committed to living a life of service and she brings joy to the groups she works with because of her positive energy and dedication. She works for what she believes in and is passionate about and this shines through in the incredible work she does and the people who she inspires
