Quinn Colling

Quinn Colling, Senior

Here is how Quinn exemplifies the Jesuit ideals according to his nomination:

Quinn has exemplified Jesuit values through both his intellectual concerns and his extra-curricular activities. He has been active in various social justice causes, and has worked hard to open his fellow students' eyes to ways in which they could make a difference in the world.  He has taken several social justice immersions to Latin America and has been active in organizing students to attend and participate in the protests at the School for the Americas. He has also been involved and active at the leadership level of several social justice groups. Most importantly, Quinn plans to devote himself to social justice issues and intellectual growth via his future career in "public interest anthropology"--a kind of anthropology devoted to ameliorating the world. He is passionate about social justice issues, yet also compassionate and a great educator already...he is most deserving of this award.
