Steve Wells, Junior

Here is how Steve exemplifies the Jesuit ideals according to his nomination:

Stephen Wells is currently serving in his 2nd full year term as president of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity Chapter of Loyola University Chicago. Steve was honored through the Sigma Alpha Epsilon national headquarters with the Emile Forman Scholarship for his outstanding commitment to community service in his school and community. With Steve’s zeal and determination, he has made Sigma Alpha Epsilon at Loyola University what it is today. Steve exemplifies his leadership, scholarship, and handwork outside of the fraternity as well. He currently serves as the Junior Class Representative for the Unified Student Government. He is also a Presidential Scholarship recipient and a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Merit Key Society. In addition, he is a mentor and tutor for underprivileged children through Youth Organizations Umbrella three days a week. He is also a Project C.A.R.E. Team Leader. Finally, he has committed himself entirely as a co-chair for this semesters Spring Concert with C.L.U.B. Steve is a man of character and honor. He has offered counsel to many of his classmates and brothers on numerous occasions. He is a man of kind spirit, a warm smile, and a big heart, always willing to do more for others even when at the detriment of himself.
