Brian Voss

Brian Voss, Senior

Here is how Brian exemplifies the Jesuit ideals according to his nomination:

Brian Voss was promoted to head building manager for Centennial Forum Student Union in August of 2006. Brian did work above and beyond what any student should be expected to do. While in the absence of a coordinator for CFSU and the newly opened Terry Center, Brian took on the role. He managed the vendor program which required him to coordinate between community members and Campus Reservations. Brian has been a fair and caring supervisor to his fellow managers. He has been a confidant to students when there have been concerns or issues and despite him being close friends with many of the managers there has never been a question of confidentiality. The respect I have seen given to Brian by his peers and the Loyola community is more than I have ever seen a student given in a student employment situation. Brian hopes to continue his good work through continuing to work in higher education once he graduates in May. When asked what he would like to do in the future, Brian will tell you that one day he would like to return to work for Loyola University Chicago. Brian is most deserving of this award.
