Dan Kleinman
Dan Kleinman, Sophomore
Here is how Dan exemplifies the Jesuit ideals according to his nomination:
As the USG Vice President for the Lake Shore Campus, Dan has contributed much to the student government, and to the student body as a whole. Writing more successful legislation than any other member of USG, Dan has also spearheaded such executive roles as reforming and jump starting the Loyola Organization Board, which allows students an open forum to voice their thoughts and concerns. He also started the first Loyola Student Activities Podcast, which lets students know about events going on around campus. Furthermore, he has continually pursued and lobbied student concerns, addressing such campus issues as slow internet in the residence halls, maintenance concerns in academic buildings, and also quality of care in the wellness center. He holds himself to high standards, and is a true representative of the student body. He tirelessly, yet modestly, dedicates countless hours each week to improve the quality of student life on this campus, without seeking praise or admonishment. He is a humble individual who leads Loyola in words and in action. Not only does he dedicate much of his free time to improving the quality of student life for Loyola students. Dan is most deserving of this award.
