Sigma Alpha Epsilon

Here is how Sigma Alpha Epsilon exemplifies the Jesuit ideals according to their nomination:

There is no truer a slogan for a Loyola Fraternity than that of Sigma Alpha Epsilon as "True Gentlemen." Not only are they leaders in the Greek community but more notable in the greater Loyola community. With the level of "brotherhood" that the gentleman of SAE shares they could easily plan social events for themselves, and perpetuate the kind of exclusivity that fraternities and sororities have on college campuses. Instead they share their strong sense of community with the student body, with very successful campus-wide events (you wouldn't expect from a typical fraternity). Events like the Halloween at Statesville, and the upcoming "Wicked Date" night, and several concerts which provide Loyola students with exciting opportunities to enjoy each other in our greater Chicago community, and on-campus. Whenever something needs to be done on campus, SAE men role up their sleeves and make it happen. From their significant contributions to Masquerade for Aid last year, to the annual St. Baldricks, to most recently an amazing effort to try to raise money w/ the Leukemia and Lymphoma foundation for family of our local Loyola community business Kaffecino. Sigma Alpha Epsilon is most deserving of this award.
