Damen Student Award

Excellence Awards 2013

The Damen Award is named for Loyola University Chicago's founder, Arnold Damen, S.J. It seeks to honor undergraduate students who have committed themselves to Jesuit ideals by being a true source of inspiration and leadership to the Loyola community throughout the year. These students are people who have led other students in spirit, motivation and purpose.

Damen Student Awards Criteria

  • Any currently enrolled undergraduate eligible
  • Nominated by faculty, staff, students, administrators
  • Must have completed two semesters at Loyola University Chicago and completed a minimum of thirty credits hours by June 2013.
  • Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5
  • Limited to 10-12 recipients
  • May not receive award in two consecutive years
