Zipoli's (named after organist Domenico Zipoli) is a student lounge located in the basement of the Centennial Forum Student Union. Named after the most renowned Italian composer to go to the New World in colonial times and the most famous choose the Jesuit order, Zip's is the place for students to meet up, play pool or ping pong, watch TV, or just relax. Occasionally there will be Loyola based performances down in the basement that are all open to the general student body. Feel free to host an informal gathering if you'd like and we will make sure that you have everything that you need to make the event memorable. Please contact Bryan Goodwin at email@example.com to inquire about using the stage, any of our sound equipment, tables, or our departmental karoake machine!
Zip's is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 a.m. and on weekends from 9 a.m. until 1:00 a.m. during the Fall and Spring Semesters. Hours are subject to change during university scheduled breaks and summer sessions.
Check out the Information Desk for event schedules, including movies and late night entertainment.
Late Night Loyola, hosted by the Department of Student Activities and Greek Affairs will be hosting events down in Zip's Lounge most Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Check out their website at www.luc.edu/saga for more information!!
