Activating Blackboard Classroom

The Provost expects all faculty to use Blackboard as a means of communicating with students. A blackboard template is set up on the blackboard site by the university once your name appears on a class roster. You can access Blackboard through the links menu on the LUC home page. If you haven’t already done so, please plan to attend one of the training sessions and to post your syllabi, daily outlines, assignments and readings online. You can also use the grade book feature which enables students to check their progress in your class at any time during the semester. Blackboard saves paper, and by using Blackboard students always have access to your syllabus and handouts. You can also receive and send papers and other written assignments through Blackboard.
