New Faculty Orientation

New part-time faculty will be invited to orientation session on August 22. An invitation will be sent via e-mail the first week of August and RSVPs are necessary.

New Faculty Orientation is held in conjunction with the semi-annual faculty development event, Focus on Teaching and Learning on August 15th and 16th, 2012:

8:15am-5:00pm, Wednesday, August 15, at Water Tower Campus:

An informal day of sessions, including remarks by Loyola’s President, Provost, and other faculty colleagues. It will be located in Regents Hall on the 16th floor of the Lewis Towers Building (Water Tower Campus Map at http://www.luc.edu/about/pdfs/wtc_map020911.pdf).

8:15am-4:30pm, Thursday, August 16, at Lake Shore Campus:

This is a second full day at the Lake Shore Campus, and joining with Focus on Teaching and Learning (FOTL). This semiannual event provides outstanding resources for all faculty, new and ongoing, to assist in their teaching development. It is held in the Information Commons on Lake Shore Campus (Lake Shore Campus Map at http://www.luc.edu/about/pdfs/lsc.pdf) and we will take care of pre-registering you on the FOTL website.
