About

Heather Green is a recent MFA graduate from Northern Illinois University. In addition to her studio and teaching practices, Ms. Green is also the Coordinator of Marketing and Education at the NIU Art Museum, where she also works as a curator. 

Ms. Green teaches figure studio, and is inspired by the human form in her own work. Specializing in both painting and drawing media, her work could be broadly characterized as focusing on portraiture with conceptual ties to larger social conditions.
