Ms. Jennifer Greenburg is currently a professor at Columbia College, Loyola University Chicago, and Harold Washington College. She held solo shows at The Hyde Park Art Center, The IUN gallery for Contemporary Art, The Richmond Public Library, The latin School of Chicago and the ARC Gallery. She has received several grants including the Light Work Artist-in-Residence, the Illinois Committee of The national Women in the Arts Grant (Honorable Mention). Her work is part of the The Midwest Photographers Project and the permanent collection at The Museum of Contemporary Photography. Her work is also on a two year loan to The Contemporary Art Museum, St. Louis.
Ms.Greenburg is also a recent recipient of the The 2007 Illinois Arts Council Grant, 2007, and a recent recipient of a Community Arts Assistant Grant (CAAP) 2007. Light Work recently published a selection of her work in the Contact sheet annual. A full-length book of Ms. Greenburg's series, The Rockabillies, is due out November 2009 and is being published by The Center for American Places.
