Dr. Rebecca Kornick currently teaches Class Voice for Beginners, Applied Voice, Art of Listening, and Theory Lab. With an undergraduate degree in Musical Theater, she has also enjoyed teaching Intro to the Theater Experience, Theater in Chicago, and Musical Theater Workshop. In addition to her teaching, Dr. Kornick has performed in such venues as the Dame Myra Hess recital series at the Chicago Cultural Center, the Joy in Singing recital series at New York's Lincoln Center as well as solo appearances with the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra and the Lake Forest Symphony. She is past President of the Chicago Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.

 

Dr. Kornick is the author of Recent American Opera, a Production Guide to over 200 American operas, published by Columbia University Press.
