Kelli Morgan McHugh is a graduate of Berry College with a bachelor's degree in Music Education, and of Northwestern University with a master's degree in Vocal Performance. Kelli has been performing, choreographing, and teaching in the cabaret, musical theatre, and opera scene in Chicago for the last 8 years, and is a founding member of Chicago Cabaret Project. Performance credits include: Sugar (Dolores), and Boys from Syracuse (Seeress) at Drury Lane Oakbrook; Aladdin at Marriott Lincolnshire; Knute Rockne All American (Margaurete- world premiere), La Cage aux Folles (Angelique), Scrooge (Mary), and Hello Dolly!at Theatre at the Centre; Jerry Springer, the Opera (Andrea) at Bailiwick Repertory Theatre; Three Musketeersand Seussical at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre; Frogs at Pegasus Players; Snow White (Snow White) andSeussical (Mayzie la bird) at Emerald City Theatre; and Fiorello! at Timeline Theatre Company.

Kelli is most proud of her work with the USO touring group OnStage, with whom she completed two tours entertaining United States troops overseas in Egypt, Turkey, Italy, France, and Spain.

Kelli's extensive teaching experience include work at the Chicago Opera Theatre's "Opera 4 All" program, Mayor Daley's "After School Matters" opera program, and Emerald City Theatre's summer program. Kelli has been teaching classical and musical theatre voice lessons for the past eight years.

As a choreographer and director, Kelli spent 4 seasons with the Northwestern University Opera department, where she assistant directed and choreographed Eugene OneginThe Bartered BrideDialogues of the CarmelitesLa Buona Figlia, and Midsummer Night's Dream. In the fall of 2007, Kelli made her directorial debut at Northwestern with The Old Maid and the Thief. Kelli has also choreographed extensively for world famous baritone Sherrill Milnes's V.O.I.C.E.xperience, a summer program for young opera singers held at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Kelli is thrilled to be a part of the Loyola University faculty. She teaches Musical Theatre Voice.
