Devita is the Graduate Assistant for Women’s Initiatives and Outreach within the Department of Student Diversity & Multicultural Affairs.  Devita primarily works on the Social Justice Dinner Dialogue Series and with Loyola University Chicago Empowering Sisterhood (LUCES), a program for Women of Color on campus.  Prior to joining SDMA, Devita was the Director for the APIASF Scholarship Program at the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund.  She also has previous work experience with youth leadership development, non-profit management, association consulting and student affairs.   Devita is currently enrolled in the Higher Education graduate program at Loyola University Chicago and she received her Bachelor’s degree in International & Intercultural Studies from Goucher College.
