Diversity Training

The Department of Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs has provided a number of Diversity & Social Justice training opportunities for students, staff, and faculty. In most cases, staff members develop a program specific to goals, participants, and time frame in order to accommodate the different classes, departments, offices, and student groups that request training. In some cases, the Department can provide diversity training for outside organizations, institutions, and community partners.

Staff members have provided training for the following groups on campus: Department of Student Life staff, orientation leaders, first-year seminar classes, the Residence Life staff, Resident Assistants and Managers, the Wellness Advocates, teaching assistants, and graduate student instructors.

If you are interested in infusing Diversity & Social Justice training as a part of your departmental professional development or student leader orientation, please download and complete the Workshop Training Request Form and email it to the Department of Student Diversity & Multicultural Affairs at least 2 weeks prior to the training date.

For more information about Diversity & Social Justice training workshops or to submit an application, please contact us at diversity@luc.edu or at 773-508-3909.
