School of Education Core Curriculum

All students are required to complete the University Core Curriculum. In some core areas, the School of Education requires a specific course from within the University Core Curriculum or requires that a course be substituted for specific core requirement. The purpose for these requirements or substitutions is to ensure that students complete the Illinois State Board of Education General Education requirements for teacher certification.
