To apply for admission to the graduate programs in the School of Education, the following documents are required from domestic applicants:

A completed admission application

A $50 non-refundable application fee (fee waived for online application)

One set of official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended, showing a GPA of at least 3.0*

Three letters of recommendation

A statement of purpose. Please write a narrative of one to three pages that describes your:

Academic and research interests, as well as professional goals

Life experiences that have influenced your view of social justice
* In exceptional cases, applicants whose undergraduate GPA is below 3.0 may be admitted. Each program area gives meaningful consideration to the applicant's graduate GPA, recommendations, professional experience and reasons for pursuing a graduate program, as well as to the diversity of the student body.
In addition to these general requirements, applicants to the master's program in behavior intervention specialist programs also need:

A current resume that highlights work experience relevant to your professional goals
For international applicants, the following documents are required in addition to those listed above:
- TOEFL or IELTS scores
- A Declaration and Certification of Finances Form (PDF)
