Application Requirements
To apply for admission to the graduate programs in the School of Education, the following documents are required from domestic applicants:- A completed admission application
- A $50 non-refundable application fee (fee waived for online application)
- One set of official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended, showing a GPA of at least 3.0*
- Three letters of recommendation
- A current resume that highlights work experience relevant to your professional goals
- A recent research paper, article or manuscript of at least 5 pages written solely by the applicant
- General GRE test scores or Miller Analogies Test (MAT) scores
- A graduate GPA of at least 3.5
- A statement of purpose. Please write a narrative of one to three pages that describes your:
- Academic and research interests, as well as professional goals
- Life experiences that have influenced your view of social justice
- An interview by invitation
For international applicants, the following documents are required in addition to those listed above:
- TOEFL or IELTS scores
- A Declaration and Certification of Finances Form (PDF)
- General evaluations of international transcripts by an outside credentialing service. Go to www.ece.org for information about this service and to download an application.
