General Instructions
To apply for admission to the graduate programs in the School of Education, the following documents are required from domestic applicants:- A completed admission application
- A $50 non-refundable application fee (fee waived for online application)
- One set of official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended, showing a GPA of at least 3.0*
- Three letters of recommendation
- A statement of purpose. Please write a narrative of one to three pages that describes your:
- academic and research interests, as well as professional goals
- any research and professional experiences
- life experiences which have influenced your view of social justice
In addition to these general requirements, applicants to the master's programs in community counseling also need:
- General GRE test scores
- TOEFL or IELTS scores
- A Declaration and Certification of Finances Form (PDF)
- General evaluations of international transcripts by an outside credentialing service. Go to www.ece.org for information about this service and to download an application.
