- What is the difference between the M.A. and M.Ed. in Cultural and Educational Policy Studies?
There are two significant differences: The M.A. requires 24 hours of coursework and the completion of a thesis. The M.Ed. requires 30 hours of coursework and successful completion of a written comprehensive examination.
- How long will it take to complete this program?
A student enrolled full-time can usually finish the M.Ed. in three to four semesters. This requires three courses per semester and two courses during the summer session. A student enrolled full-time can usually finish the M.A. in three years including coursework (assuming the student takes two courses occasionally).
