Administration and Supervision
The area of Administration and Supervision offers programs at the master's and doctoral degree levels and for endorsement only. It prepares educators for leadership positions in public and private school. Graduates have also assumed positions in other educational service agencies, government, and faculty positions in schools of education. The administrative preparation programs emphasize the theory and practice of leadership in educational decision making, and technical skills in managing schools.
Acknowledging the growth and diversity found in many of our school systems today, our program prides itself on preparing candidates to handle the rigors of being instructional leaders in urban and suburban school settings, making decisions within the broader contexts of equity and social justice.
