School of Education Assistantships
Graduate assistantships offering tuition fellowships and financial stipends are available through the school. Assistantships offer a stipend, while tuition fellowships pay for 24 semester hours of coursework. Assistantships are limited in number, are available only to full-time graduate students, and are awarded on a competitive basis. In the past, a greater number of assistantships have been awarded to doctoral students rather than master's degree-seeking students. For doctoral students, the university also sponsors university fellowships, teaching fellowships and dissertation fellowships. The latter two fellowships are available only to advanced graduate students.
