Chicago-land Partners for English Language Learners (CPELL), a $2-million dollar grant awarded to the School of Education. Participating teachers are enrolled in a master’s degree or endorsement program to further develop their knowledge and skills in the education of English Language Learners. In addition to university courses, CPELL provides professional development for administrators, faculty, and para-professionals and parent programming for the district partners.
