M.Ed. in Science Education
The M.Ed. in Science Education program has three tracks that prepare certified teachers to become qualified and competent middle-grade science teachers, high school chemistry teachers or high school earth and space science teachers. The program provides a sophisticated understanding of science content and pedagogy, and emphasizes problem-based learning and a basic comprehension of scientific inquiry and theory. Research, writing and inquiry skills are also developed.
