About

Amy Heineke, Ph.D., is the Assistant Professor of Bilingual and Bicultural Education in the School of Education at Loyola University Chicago. Her research focuses on teacher preparation for ELs, including the role of culturally and linguistically diverse clinical and international experiences for teacher candidates, as well as classroom teachers’ active role in language education policy.
