Jewish Day School Program
Administrative Leadership: M.Ed. in Administration & Supervision
Loyola's School of Education is offering a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree with a focus on the Jewish Day Schools.
This rigorous, accelerated program strives to meet the needs of working educators and those seeking administrative leadership in Jewish educational institutions. The M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision is offered on a convenient schedule of two consecutive summers of intensive study, each followed by a project in the Fall. In Fall of the first year an independent research project will be conducted that will influence the school-based practicum in the second Fall.
Classes for the master's degree meet Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. plus two evenings each week for both summers. Loyola faculty will assess progress of both the research project and the practicum. In addition, the practicum will be supervised by a mentor administrator in an approved institution. The institution will be selected for its demonstrated excellence as well as its relation to the candidate's philosophical beliefs and career goals.
