An active faith is at the core of all aspects of LU-CHOICE. Participants recognize that they are called by God to use their talents to serve others. As teachers in Catholic schools, teachers nurture the faith development of their students and share their own faith journeys. Communities pray together and encourage the spiritual development of each member.

LU-CHOICE teachers participate in retreats each year, and come together to share spirituality.

Applicants need not be Catholic to apply. However, all applicants must be comfortable and willing to live and work in a Catholic environment.

"Lord, teach me to be generous. Teach me to serve you as you deserve; to give and not to count the cost, to fight and not to heed the wounds, to toil and not to seek for rest, to labor and not to seek reward, except that of knowing that I do your will."
- St. Ignatius' Prayer for Generosity
