BSEd in Special Education
The BSEd in Special Education prepares full-time undergraduate teacher-education candidates seeking a bachelor's degree in education and licensure as an LBSI (K–12) teacher. A secondary outcome is for these candidates to be certified as elementary teachers.
The program trains candidates to work with students with special needs, ages 3–21, across the curriculum and in inclusive classroom settings.
- Gain extensive classroom experience in diverse settings through Loyola partnerships with schools and communities.
- Continually collaborate with faculty and students at all levels within your chosen specialty through professional learning communities.
- Earn your degree from a fully accredited college that prepares students for licensing and advanced board licensure.
- Graduate with eligibility for an ESL endorsement.
